Warranty Policy
Limited Warranty for Cooling Equipment
This Warranty Policy applies to all cooling systems and equipment manufactured or supplied by Bonn Cooling Solutions (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).
The Company warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and operating conditions.
Warranty Period
Unless otherwise specified in the sales agreement or product documentation, the standard warranty period is:
12 months from the date of delivery
or
12 months from the date of commissioning, whichever occurs first.
For certain custom systems or components, the warranty period may differ and will be stated in the commercial quotation or contract.
Warranty Coverage
During the warranty period, the Company will, at its discretion:
• repair the defective product
• replace defective components
• provide replacement parts
This warranty applies only to defects resulting from manufacturing faults or defective components.
All warranty repairs must be authorized by the Company prior to any service work.
Warranty Conditions
The warranty is valid only if the equipment:
• is installed according to the installation manual
• is operated within specified operating limits
• receives appropriate maintenance
• is connected to a compliant electrical supply
• uses approved coolant and operating fluids
All installation and service work must be performed by qualified personnel.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failures caused by:
• improper installation
• incorrect electrical connection
• operation outside specified conditions
• insufficient cooling airflow or ventilation
• contamination of the coolant circuit
• incorrect coolant type
• unauthorized modifications or repairs
• misuse or negligence
• transportation damage after delivery
• external environmental factors
The warranty also does not cover:
• consumable components
• normal wear and tear
• cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
Third-Party Components
Certain components used in the equipment may be supplied by third-party manufacturers, including but not limited to:
• compressors
• pumps
• fans
• controllers
• sensors
Such components may be covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
The Company will assist in facilitating warranty claims where applicable but does not extend the original manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty Claim Procedure
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must contact the Company and provide:
• product model and serial number
• date of purchase or delivery
• detailed description of the issue
• photos or diagnostic information if available
The Company may request additional information to evaluate the claim.
Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
Return of Equipment (RMA)
If equipment must be returned for inspection or repair, the Company will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Returned equipment must:
• include the RMA reference number
• be properly packaged
• be shipped in accordance with provided instructions
Products returned without an RMA may be refused.
Costs Not Covered by Warranty
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the warranty does not cover:
• shipping costs
• installation costs
• removal or reinstallation costs
• travel expenses for on-site service
• system downtime or loss of production
Limitation of Warranty
This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by the Company.
No other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided unless stated in writing.
The Company’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product or component.
